yesterday, i got to ride pocket!!!! :) while i rode pocket around, mrs. mary was cleaning out the horse stalls. when i think she was emptying her buckets into the trash can, pocket was doing just fine—-until pocket went crazy. he started trying to run and jump all of a sudden, and i started slipping off his side. on his blanket, there was a thing i could have grabbed, but i was bouncing so much. i’m lucky he couldn’t run; i was slipping off of his side and i had the reins in my hand and was making him turn in a circle since i was halfway off of him…. i just slipped off the side of him (mrs. mary says i’m lucky i didn’t get thrown off) and got right back up, because i didn’t know if pocket was going to start running again. i didn’t get hurt, and pocket was fine after that. i got right back on him and he was perfectly calm.
